공작새방은 스튜디오 공옥이 운영하는 전시공간으로서 국내외 재능 있는 작가들의 예술/ 디자인 작품들을 소개하는 공간입니다. 화이트 큐브 스타일의 갤러리가 아닌 아늑한 집과 같은 환경에서 예술 작품, 공예품, 가구 등을 함께 전시하고 있습니다.
Gongjaksaebang is an exhibition space operated by Studio Gongok, showcasing art and design works by talented artists from Korea and abroad. Unlike a white cube gallery, it displays artworks, crafts, and furniture within a cozy, home-like environment.
공옥 디자인 작업실 Studio Gongok
2021년에 문을 연 스튜디오 공옥은 인테리어 디자인과 아트 컨설팅 서비스를 제공하는 곳입니다. 대표 디자이너 라희원은 연세대 불문과와 이화여대 미술사학과 졸업하였습니다. 그 후 미국의 워싱턴 D.C.의 Corcoran College of Art & Design에서 인테리어 디자인으로 석사학위를 취득하였고, 파리의 패션 스쿨 ESMOD 에서 Intensive Course 1년 과정을 마쳤습니다. 스튜디오 공옥은 단순하면서 시간이 흘러도 그 가치가 변하지 않는 디자인을 추구합니다.
Opened in 2021, Studio Gongok provides interior design and art consulting services. Studio Gongok's founder, Ra Heewon, graduated from Yonsei University's French Language and Literature Department and Ewha Womans University's Art History Department. She subsequently earned a Master's degree in Interior Design from Corcoran College of Art & Design in Washington D.C., USA, and completed a one-year Intensive Course at ESMOD, a fashion school in Paris. Studio Gongok pursues designs that are simple yet retain their value over time.
